White Pages, 2012-15
Lines on pure white – outline yet shape, clear yet blank, as archetypes deprived of any embellishment. Threaded with crystalline sharpness, the pages seek cleanliness, if not innocence. Linen and porcelain come to mind, as do white lies. As whiteworks they remain uncoloured. They reside in stillness.
The series White Pages consists of over 25 drawings. It has been published in picture book form under the same title (see Publications).
